Press Meet for Declaring Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti as a National Holiday
Sri Chandrshekhar Chavan, the Founder and Chairman of Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Foundation, held a press meet at Somajiguda Press Club to urge the Government to declare Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti (February 19th) as “Hindavi Swarajy Abhiyan Divas” and recognize it as a National Holiday.
The event was graced by MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy Garu as the chief guest, who strongly supported the cause, emphasizing the importance of honoring the legacy of Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He stated that February 19th should be officially recognized as “Hindavi Swarajy Abhiyan Divas“ to inspire future generations with the great Maratha ruler’s vision, courage, and leadership.
This initiative by the Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Foundation aims to unite people across the nation in remembering and celebrating the ideals of Swarajya and Hindu pride.
Additionally, Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Foundation has taken a historic initiative to celebrate Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti in 100 different locations, aiming to set a record in the Wonder Book of Records. This grand celebration will showcase the unity and strength of the Hindu community while spreading the ideals of Swarajya and Hindu pride across the nation.
